Software development internship
Primary objectives: We have some structural design and analysis tools developed in excel. The intern will investigate the feasibility to develop the tools in Python or another object-oriented program and output the results in excel or word format.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of applications
- Create scripts for data discovery procedures
- Research emerging technologies and processes related to data management
Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with Object Oriented Programming Concepts languages and scripts, such as Python, MATLAB, VBA (preferably Python)
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
- Motivated to lead and mentor others
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
- Must be fluent in English
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a computer science degree or equivalent (preferably Bachelor final year/ Master first year students)
Work environment:
- First three months working from home
- Some travel to the Netherlands if required
What we will offer:
- Three months’ contract in the beginning. The contract will be extended another 6 months based on the performance
- If the intern shows good motivation and result, a long-term contract will be offered with a competitive salary after the graduation
